(n/m) - Good2Zya I didn't even know this conversation was going on until I logged in tonight for the first time in a couple of weeks. To be honest the Radiator is pretty expensive and when we decided to make it we knew that it was NOT for everyone!!! Just like the solid aluminum motor mounts and tranny mount that we made. I have talked a dozen people out of them in the last couple of weeks because they are not for everyone. Fred is right in a sense about the cost being high because it is not something that will sell hundreds of thousands like a Mustang part. We expect to sell only a few dozen to the hard core road racers that have heat related problems. Its the same thing with the Hard Pipe kit. I never expected to sell tons of them I just figured I would make something that looked better then the Cusco or HKS aluminum pipes with the welds for the guys who do car shows. We make and sell parts for all kinds of cars and to be honest we are NOT getting rich by any means. We just like to try to make BETTER products at the same price or lower price then what is available in the market now. I have worked with several Manufactorers including JWT, RC Engineering, Thermal, ATR, JUN and others to make better and better products for the 300zx.
Now on another note. I don't care how much money you have or how bad you think your car is......there is ALWAYS soimeone with a faster car and more money then YOU.
I apologize to the forum for Fred's behavour and I will certainally have a talk with him :-). I understand how it upset some of you because it upset me to read some of the comments. I FULLY understand that I can not make everyone happy and customers will have their own loyality to certain shops. That is part of business and as a business man I fully accept that aspect. I also fully understand that not all products and prices will be accepted by all customers. That is why I try to carry a wide range of products for a wide range of customers :-). Not all customers take their cars and run laps around a road course, run it down a 1/4 mile drag strip, or show their cars at car shows. Thats why different people buy different products.
Well I hope I have made my point with this long and rambling post :-). Again I truely apologize and hope that everyone will just chill and enjoy the ride.
